Futures Application Support

My client, a top tier investment bank, is looking for their next excellent front office application support analyst for their Futures Support Team. This particular team has a high standard so your future colleagues are some of the best application support analysts in London; they are extremely technical and have excellent business knowledge. With this, they also have a great team atmosphere and really value their team members.

Once in this role, you will be part of a global team, supporting the traders, sitting with them on the trade floor. You will be a highly technical within a Unix and SQL environment, whilst also taking part in scripting including PERL and other Unix scripting languages. Day-to-day you will be ensuring the smooth running of the futures trading applications.

The technical skills which are a must have include:

- Unix
- Oracle/SQL
- Previous experience in a front office, investment banking environment

Ideally you will have worked on a low-latency environment.
