FUSION MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR - ORACLE, OBIEE, ODI, INFORMATICA

ON BEHALF OF MY CLIENT WHO IS A GLOBAL IT SERVICES AND SOLUTIONS ORGANISATION, I AM LOOKING FOR AN ORACLE FUSION MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATOR WITH RELEVANT EXPERIENCE TO OBIEE, ODI AND INFORMATICA.

FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

ESSENTIAL:

- Extensive knowledge in the installation and administration of BI Apps in production environments.
- Extensive knowledge in Weblogic and OHS configuration and management
- Good understanding of Fusion Middleware and its components
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Practical experience with interactive systems, advanced understanding of relational databases.
-Knowledge of Service Level Management Principles.

ESSENTIAL:

-Ten years or more of experience in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
-Extensive experience in BI Apps technical architecture design, installation, configuration and administrator support.
-Extensive experience in ODI and Informatica administration
-Experience in creation of new environments, migration of code, patching and environment refreshes.
-Experience in design, implementation and support of backup, monitoring, disaster recovery solutions.
-Experience working in both Windows and Linux/Unix OS environments
-Experience in four or more of the following Fusion Middleware components: OAM, OID, OIM, SOA, BAM, WCC, EPM, HFM, OATS, Flexcube, Portal and GRC.
-Design and install OBIEE in a High-Availability mode
-Excellent knowledge of English

DESIRABLE:

-Experience in BI Apps for PeopleSoft and/or E-business
-Experience in automating repetitive tasks with scripts (wlst and/or Shell script)
-Experience in configuring SSO for BI Apps and integrate with LDAP source
-International work experience
-Experience of project management
-Working knowledge of French

TERMS & CONDITIONS

-On-call on a rotational basis, according to defined intervention timelines
-Requirement to provide a contact number where consultant may be reached in case of an emergency
-Require all-inclusive daily rate
-Interventions during on-call periods shall be compensated with equivalent time off in lieu
-Weekend work may be required at short notice

R OLE:

The consultant will:

-Provide technical support for Managed Oracle BI Apps Hosting services provided by customer, including system administration of BI Apps technology components such as ODI and Informatica.
-Provide technical support for different Fusion Middleware software such as OBIEE, OAM, OID, OIM, SOA, BAM, WCC, EPM, HFM, OATS, Flexcube, Portal and GRC.
-Perform routine production support activities and provide incident and problem management support
-Troubleshoot BI Apps-related issues
-Co-ordinate with the application and database vendors for resolution of problems (functional bugs, performance issues, etc.)
-Perform support activities during maintenance windows
-In case of emergencies, perform support (either on-site or remotely using VPN connectivity) outside normal working hours
-Provide standby and on-call support as and when required
-Monitor capacity
-Implement new BI Apps environments as required
-Perform application upgrades
-Provide technical support for the BI development team of the Partner Organization(s)
-Provide assistance in BI Apps landscape design
-Undertake performance tuning in both Informatica/ODI and Weblogic server
-Produce documentation as required
-Implement project-type activities and other requests for services
-Liaise with Partner Organizations on a service management basis, including identifying business development for this or similar technology
-Perform other duties as required
