Furnace Operator Job

A FURNACE OPERATOR is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- To provide process integrity and maintain process quality for all furnace process operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Act as a team member with fellow employees to maintain a constant, steady flow of quality parts.
- Assemble, load and unload basic furnace runs
- Segregate, weigh and label parts
- Conduct equipment checks, perform furnace control and take process readings on furnaces
- Clean furnaces and hardware
- Perform furnace pump down and leak rate functions including investigation of leaks
- Compliance with EH&S procedures and completion of EH able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer skills with potential to run furnaces utilizing DCS system
- Good organizational skills
- This is a six (6) month contract, paying $15 - $16 per hour.
