FUND RISK MANAGER-ASSET MANAGEMENT-GENEVA The CLIENT Our client is an asset management company having offices all around the world and ranked in the International top 10 in its categorie. In order to reinforce the Risk team, they are looking for a Fund Risk Manager. The ROLE You will report to the CRO and your main responsibilities will be: * Follow up and meet risk reporting requirements * Monitor the following activities: market and liquidity risk linked to trading, trader and fund limits, stop losses, drawdown, etc. * Develop products modeling in the risk systems if needed or ensure accuracy of the modeling * Internal ad hoc collaboration and support (examples: exposure to credit trading, support in development of risk tools, coordination on margins for derivatives, etc.) * Support the general Risk management strategies set up The REQUESTED PROFILE * You have min. 5-7 years experience in trading of which 3-4 in the risk area + quantitative exposure * You have a strong understanding of asset management, public financial markets and credit trading/rates concepts * You are able to set up, develop, improve and work efficiently (with) risk tools * You have a solid educational background with a decent grade (MIT,Oxford, Harvard, ETH, EPFL or similar) in Mathematics, Physics, Technology, Natural sciences or Engineering * You are IT literate and you had some programming exposure; you have skills in VBA, SQL C++, Excel and Access + RiskMetrics * You are team player, polyvalent and hands on, you have strong analytical and communication skills * You are resourceful and self-starter * You speak and write perfectly English + an other European language (ideally French) * You have a EU passport or a Swiss permit The OFFER This role will give you to chance to work and develop within a high level and challenging environment, belonging to the exciting asset management sector.
