FUND Migration Manager

DESCRIPTION:

An opportunity has arisen within a leading Investor Services provider firm who are seeking an experienced Migration Manager to join their team in Edinburgh on an initial 9 month contract basis.

The successful candidate will manage virtual teams comprising contributors from business teams in multiple locations.

In addition to this the role holder will lead the delivery of change projects for the existing client base with these projects having been pre-approved via the client & business change function.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analysis of the Funds (Pricing, Trial Balance, Tax and Fee Structures)
- Testing of the migration activities
- Conducting the migration upload/reconciliation
- Parallel run reconciliation and reviews with focus being on investigating and resolving issues to both client and internal satisfaction.

CORE SKILLS:

- Valuation and Pricing.
- End to End understanding of fund accounting and reporting.
- Project management knowledge desirable particularly in the area of planning and risk identification.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong negotiation skills.
- Highly organised, able to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
- Good process design skills.
- Good training and knowledge transfer skills.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

- IAQ Merit Award or equivalent.- Required
- PRINCE2/Six Sigma - Useful
- IMC Certificate - Desired
- CFA - Desired
- ACCA/CIMA - Desired
