Fund & Box Management Analyst (Financial Services) - Surrey

Job Summary
We are recruiting for contract Full time Fund & Box Management Analyst to join our LGAS Finance Accounting Operations team for 8 months.

Reporting to the Fund & Box Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of Accounting Operations, you will be on-the-job learning and documenting unit linked fund box management processes with a view to migrating those processes to another location, including parallel running, training new staff and establishing financial controls.

We are looking for candidates with excellent experience in Financial Services unit linked box management, who have hands on end-to-end process transition or transformation experience and are prepared to split their time between Kingswood and the new location. Ideally, they should be qualified or near qualified with an appropriate investment administration qualification.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to migrate the following responsibilities to the new location:
*Daily unit linked fund box management and dealing processes.
*Corporate action and fund maintenance processes.
*Unit Linked Management Committee management information preparation and analysis of variances.
During the transition you will be expected to:
Adhere to robust financial controls in compliance with Group Standards, statutory and regulatory requirements and the risk and control framework, including documented audit trail evidence of successful transition.
Identify and suggest improvements to processes.
Ensure the highest standard of training for new staff.

Ensure that procedure notes are up to date and fit for purpose.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
*Several years experience in Fund & Box management, within Financial Services
*Qualified or near qualified with a recognised investment administration qualification preferred
*Advanced Microsoft Excel
*Business analysis experience, ideally business process reengineering and/or transitioning of processes to new locations or outsourcing
*Knowledge of Life and Pensions products desirable
*Team player and calm under pressure.
