Fund Administrator, Transfer Accounting, VBA

My client, a leading international bank, is looking for a fund administrator to join their central Funding team on a long term contracting basis. The candidate must have strong Excel and systems skills, experience of maintaining accounting systems and strong stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will come from a Fund Administration background and have strong technical skills including VBA, this position is not suitable for candidates from a VBA Developer background.

DESCRIPTION

- Accurately process large number of client flows to internal systems in efficient manner allowing for rapid and effective investment decision
- Adhere to all client specific deadlines and IMAs nuances to ensure the bank is acting with due diligence on any client directed flows
- Manage your own Transfer Agent function process around payment instruction to correct SSIs
- Maintain prices on designated accounts to ensure correct valuation and reporting for all pooled clients
- Effectively process all pricing files
- Regular interaction with various investment teams within the bank good communication and understanding of process is essential
- Maintenance of accounting system - accurate reconciliation experience
- Intermediate-to-strong excel skills essential Vlookups and various other formula based knowledge
- VBA Macro writing would be beneficial in what is a relatively manual environment
- Potential projects involvement SWIFT rollout, client instructions template amendments, Pricing review. Candidate will need to be open to wide diversity of different tasks/roles and therefore have experience in prioritising work, working under pressure with relatively short deadlines, being able to organise themselves and escalate where necessary
- Career minded individual who is eager to progress within the bank
