Fund Accounting Software - Business Consultant -London A leading Fund Accounting Software house require a Business Consultant to join their growing Fund Administration consulting team. This organisation works with high profile clients in the Investment Management / Asset Servicing space. The ideal candidate will have a background in Fund Accounting / Fund Administration within a Fund Manager or Custodian or within professional services with a financial vendor such as InvestOne (SunGard), ICON or Chorus (LineData), HiPortfolio or Paladign (DST International), PAM (Princeton), Multifonds (IGEFI), Eagle (Eagle STAR), CAMRA or FMC Pacer (SS&C), Dimension (Simcorp), Milestone, Quasar (Misys / Rhymes), Geneva (Advent), Porsche or similar in house accounting systems etc Alongside Fund Accounting Software knowledge, any understanding of Investment Reporting or Regulatory Reporting would be advantageous. The role requires the confidence to run workshops with clients, gather requirements, challenge the client and handle issues as and when they arise. You must also have strong documentation skills in order to create functional documentation and have a technical awareness in order to do some product configuration. Requirements: Fund Accounting / Fund Administration Business knowledge Professional Services / Business Consulting / Business Analysis / Project Management / Advisory Experience Self starter Excellent communication Fund Accounting Systems / Software knowledge Financial knowledge - Ideally Investment Management knowledge - Equities / Fixed Income / Derivatives Client facing, confident and a willingness to learn and develop Knowledge of French, Spanish or German would be advantageous. Please note you must have experience of working a either a BA / Consultant implementing Fund Accounting Software or as a Fund Accountant / Fund Administrator with a Fund Manager / Custodian.
