Fund Accountant - Sorps/Oeics/Unit Trusts

The Role

Performs routine duties and data analysis for mutual funds or separate accounts. Reconcile various accounts, research variances and correct as required, conduct daily verification of capital flows, conduct ad hoc research and analysis, may perform other tasks as directed. Bachelors in accounting or finance or equivalent.

Hours
9:00am to 5:00pm

Duties
Would work alongside other Fund accountants and would report into Senior fund accounts or Officers within the team.

Report and Accounts, OEICs experience, Unit Trust experience, Excel, Word

Essential products/systems
Ideally someone with a couple of years accounts knowledge from an OEIC/Unit Trust perspective. Knowledge of SORP accounts.

Possibly someone from a pricing background but with a leaning towards wanting an accounts role and has had either some exposure to accounts in the past or has a relevant accounts qualification.

Excel experience is a must as we use Excel constantly in accounts production. Other Microsoft packages experience would be advantageous however not essential.

Desirable
The candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative after training with the main areas of work being preparation of some reconciliations and accounts and review of work which comes from our Poland office.
