Fund Accountant, Real Estate Funds, Audit

My client, a leading asset management company, is looking for a fund accountant with significant experience within real estate.

Responsibilities:
*Direct and indirect line management of accounting team, conducting appraisals and reviewing/agreeing employee compensation.
*Responsible for the accuracy and efficiency of output of the accounting team.
*Authorisation of payments, transactions and cash flows in line with authorised signatory levels
*Managing the audit process.
*Review of complex fee calculations carry/waterfall mechanisms.
*Training team members in calculating, bookkeeping and reconciling complex transactions.
*Confidence in building complex accounting reports to enable review and resolution of client/audit queries and to drive investor reporting needs.
*Support the sales team through proactive communications with clients (ancillary sales and organic growth) and working with the sales team in reviewing constitutional and/or sales pitch documentation, attending meetings with prospective clients where necessary.

Requirements
*Strong interpersonal skills to manage the teams and to be able to establish robust relationships with clients, auditors and other business functions.
* Excellent knowledge of IFRS
*Experience in the field of real estate investment fund accounting would be essential.
*Experience in audit would be beneficial.
*Evidence of strong client/intermediary relationship management skills.
*ACA/ACCA/CIMA
