Our client, a large bank, has 2 live fund accounting positions to sit within their NAV team. One position is a Fund Accountant and the other is a Senior Fund Accountant. Prior experience is preferable for the Fund Accountant position but is essential for the Senior Fund Accountant position.
Fund Accountant:
This is a multifocused client facing fund accounting/unit pricing role, ensuring total accuracy and ownership of all accounting data delivered to the clients (End Client/Portfolio Managers/Marketing and Sale support teams/Performance team etc). Previous experience in Hedge Funds is desirable but not a preference.
Senior Fund Accountant:
Works on a large hedge NAV team, with a variety of products. Prepare various accounting statements and reports. Prepares journal entries, performs reconciliations, and performs account analysis. Audits various records to verify accuracy. Generally reports to Manager or Advanced Manager. Prior NAV Hedge Fund experience is essential.
