Fund Accountant, Billings, Daily Fund Accruals

Our client, a large bank, has a requirement for a Fund Accountant to ensure the accuracy of fee billings based on agreed client fee schedules and within agreed SLA's for standard format clients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in fund billings experience together with experience of daily fund accruals.

Key responsibilities:
*Ensure that all billings created are thoroughly checked against client fee schedules.
*Ensure billing queries are dealt with promptly.
*Ensure necessary internal controls and procedures are adhered to.
*Ensure that appropriate sign off and approval is obtained for all invoices
*Ensure prompt entry of all receivable within the financial system (Oracle),
*Upload of periodic journals in to Oracle.
*Prepare automated receipt and payment instructions using financial system (Oracle
*Generation of non-Oracle fee payment instructions (Excel/Word).
*Monitor cash received vs. financial system entries ensuring allocation on a daily basis with a focus on all items being allocated at month end.
*There will also be other duties and special/ad-hoc projects as assigned

Essential
*3-5 Years funds billing experience
*Excellent Excel skills including pivots
*Good Accounting Skills
*Good analytical, problem solving and communication skills
