Functional Tester/QA Analyst/QC

Functional Tester/QA Analyst/QC:

A financial services company in Luxembourg are looking for a Functional Tester/QA Analyst/QC join their team to identify and document the complete set of regression test cases for the Collateral Management system to ensure current functionality is maintained after major releases.

Tasks/Responsibilities of the Functional Tester/QA Analyst/QC:

*Document test cases
*Identify and describe high level test scenarios
*Write test cases
*Record test cases in a standard test tool
*Document any set up work needed for specific testing, ie Data preparation for specific scenario tests, writing of test cases in Quality Center
*Review deliverables with key stakeholders

Test Execution

*Execute tests as documented in the test case (QC)
*Log defects and work with developers to resolve
*Retest and close defects when they have been resolved & update test tool
*Work closely with development, Project Manager and business end users to achieve timely resolution of issues that arise during the project

Reporting

*Provide detailed status reports and test tracking progress
*Log and highlight risks and issues
*Provide Test Completion reports to Project Management and stakeholders

Qualifications/Required Skills for the Functional Tester/QA Analyst/QC:

*At least 3 years experience in
oTranslating business/functional requirements into test cases
oTest case preparation and test execution tasks
*QA experience in an Investment Collateral Management environment is a distinct advantage
*Knowledge of the following is an advantage:
oMercury Quality Center
oTest Automation
oTOAD
*Good understanding of QA processes and the Software Development Lifecycle
*Ability to communicate with both business and technical departments
*Experience of working with a structured project environment
