FUNCTIONAL TESTER/ANALYST (CZECH, GERMAN, TEST, TESTER, ANALYST, FUNCTIONAL, SQL, UNIX, SECURITIES)

Our Prague-based client is currently looking for a Functional Tester/Analyst to join their team in a contract basis.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of the functional acceptance test covering the second part of the SUMMIT project implementation flow.

The main responsibilities are:
Creating a specification on Depository links
Functional understanding of securities financing & collateral management
Assisting the functional expert team in the preparation and execution of the functional acceptance criteria throughout all testing cycles in order to ensure that the new, modified functions meet the functional or systems specifications as defined and agreed.
Provide input to the functional readiness and change management stream.

MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

University degree and/or a comparable qualification
Basic knowledge of financial products (bonds and equities)
Knowledge of Securities Financing and Collateral Management products and services is an advantage
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in an international environment
Good communication skills
Good practice of MS Office products (word, excel)
SQL knowledge is a must (data lookup)
UNIX user knowledge
Written and spoken English mandatory, French or German is an advantage

DETAILED PROCESS DESCRIPTION

1. PREPARATION

Analyse/understand the System Requirement Analyse (SRA) and or System Delivery Specifications (SDS)
Prepare the functional acceptance criteria and test cases according to the new functional requirements
The functional acceptance preparation is key to the successful and timely completion of the Functional testing.

2. PERFORM/EXECUTE

Execute the Functional Acceptance Criteria in a timely manner (input test scenarios, instructions, )
Analysing and interpreting test result using SQL
Document the results by using the proposed tool or spreadsheet as proposed by the project team.
Report the test results within the tool or any proposed database from the project.

3. ISSUE RESOLUTION

Raise issues encountered by using the issue tracking tool as requested by the project
Contribute actively to the issue resolution by indicating the observation made
Document the issue and the solution within the tool or any data base as requested by the project team.
Monitor all issues raised throughout their life cycle

4. TESTING CLOSEDOWN

Contribute as requested to the project close down report.
