Functional Test Analyst - Financial Markets

As part of the testing team the Functional Test Analyst will work to execute functional SIT and UAT test activities to assist in the delivery of a multi-asset class risk and reporting engine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Execute SIT and UAT test activities
* Influence future development of the testing framework with suggestions and improvements
* Maintain strong relationships with development and project teams throughout the SDLC and project critical path

REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Previous experience as a functional test analyst within a financial markets environment
* Experience in testing (Java based) applications on a number of technology platforms
* Experience with vendor based systems such as Murex, Calypso, Kondor+ etc. would be highly regarded.
* An excellent grasp of functional testing (SIT, UAT)
* Ability to analyse application logs to understand application behaviour
* Knowledge of Manual and Automated Test methodologies
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build and present reports

Excellent communication skills are essential. A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science is highly advantageous, as well as relevant industry certification.
