Functional Test Analyst - (Collateral Management, Banking, Luxembourg)

BACKGROUND:

My client a leading banking organisation in Luxembourg is looking for a Test Analyst to work on the Collateral Management application.

The role also requires some business analysis.

TASKS:

Identify and document the complete set of regression test cases for the Collateral Management system to ensure current functionality is maintained after major releases.

Regression test execution and reporting.

Document test cases;

Identify key business requirements;

Identify and describe high level test scenarios;

Write test cases;

Record test cases in a standard test tool;

Document any set up work needed for specific testing, eg. Data preparation for specific scenario tests, writing of test cases in Quality Center;

Review deliverables with key stakeholders.

TEST EXECUTION:

Execute tests as documented in the test case (QC);

Log defects and work with developers to resolve;

Retest and close defects when they have been resolved

Work closely with development, Project Manager and business end users to achieve timely resolution of issues that arise during the project.

REPORTING:

Provide detailed status reports and test tracking progress;

Log and highlight risks and issues;

Provide Test Completion reports to Project Management and Stakeholders.

SKILLS:

Minimum 3 years experience in

- translating business/functional requirements into test cases;
- test case preparation and test execution tasks;

Proven ability to identify issues and proactively determine ways to resolve them;

QA experience in an Investment Collateral Management environment is a distinct advantage;

Knowledge of:

- Mercury Quality Center;
- Test Automation;
- TOAD;

Excellent documentation skills

Good understanding of QA processes and the Software Development

Lifecycle;

Experience of working with a structured project environment

Language: English.
