Functional Test Analyst

Automation Test analyst Selenium Pytest

Functional Test analyst needed in a specialist technical role with a focus on identifying technical test solutions. These solutions may relate to areas of testing such as system integration, system or non-functional type testing. This can involve reviewing architectures or integration documents and writing custom test harnesses.

Responsibilities include:
. Manual feature testing
. Potential writing of custom test solutions
. Review technical requirements/specifications
. Review system architecture to determine appropriate test points
. Identify appropriate testing required
. Test scheduling
. Provide test advice
. Automation
. Identify and provide/arrange necessary training to business or test groups
. Ensure adherence to agreed Test Strategy, Plan and project schedules
. Analyse and report on test results

Experience Required
. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
. Experience in software development projects
. Experience in software testing
. Experience in scrum teams

Technical Skills
. Knowledge of test automation tools, preferable Selenium and Pytest
. Knowledge of Jira, Stash and Bamboo
. Knowledge of Test Management Tools, preferable Testlink
. Basic SQL skills/knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server 2014)
. Programming knowledge preferable Python and PHP
. Understanding of systems and architecture (DB's, Servers, Networks etc.)
. Knowledge of testing Tracking events (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and AT Internet)
. Knowledge of REST API testing
. Knowledge of Cross Browser Testing (Mobile, Tablet and Desktop)
. Knowledge of XML/HTML/CSV or similar mark-up languages
. Knowledge of New Relic
. Good general IT knowledge
