Functional/Technical Analyst

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL ANALYST

ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic opportunity for a Functional/Technical analyst to work for our Client, a leading European Institution, in the beautiful Belgian capital of Brussels.

Our client is looking for both junior level and senior level analysts as there are several available vacancies. 

TASKS INCLUDE:

Provision of quality plans, SLAs, quality tests, quality control and evaluation, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information systems projects

Analysis of user requirements, design of new information systems, development of technical and functional specifications.

Analysis of business processes, organizational structures, data flows, production of use case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis models, implementation models Contract Statement of Work

Costing and estimating.

Quality and Management:

- Defining quality, test and acceptance procedures and criteria. Test and acceptance of deliveries by third party contractors.
- Analysis of information systems portfolio, project planning, risk and cost/benefit analysis.
- Follow up of developments.
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Experience in some or all of the tasks listed above as well as:

- Java
- Spring
- Oracle
- XML

For the senior role the analyst will need additional skills in:

- J2EE
- EJB
- Struts
- JSP
- JavaScript
- Jboss
- Hibernate

Desirable Skills and Experience:

- French language speaking skills is desirable but not essential.
- Degree in a related discipline eg Computer Science

Duration: 9 months for Senior and 6 months for Junior.Hourly Rate: Between 43ph -51ph, depending on experience.
