Functional Team Lead - Payroll

THIS IS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED FUNCTIONAL LEAD TO JOIN A LARGE PROGRAM IN A 12 MONTH CONTRACT.

You will act as the Business Process Owner representative on the ERP Program and use your functional expertise in Payroll to lead the process and system design decisions within the program.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Oversee the Senior Business Analysts in scope validation, process reengineering, standardisation and simplification
- Provide input into project design and implementation decisions
- Provide input into the definition of business process design documents and to be processes in the functional area of Payroll
- Seek clarification on äs-is operational and functional needs
- Lead SME's from across the business in the assessment of standard payroll processes, including gap analysis and impact assessment
- Hold regular team meetings to ensure deliverables are on track

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXTENSIVE BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT KNOWLEDGE AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN LARGE ERP PROJECTS. SAP experience would be highly regarded.

SELECTION CRITERIA

- Extensive operational business experience with a strong record of performance in the PAYROLL area
- Experience working as a functional lead in a significant ERP project environment with knowledge of cross functional process integration points
- Experience leading and implementing Payroll process design recommendations and changes
- Able to manage a small team
- High level analytical and problem solving capability
- Strong interpersonal skills
