Functional Manager MRP

For our client in the steel industry, we are looking for a functional manager Business Processes & Systems MRP

The department Business Processes & System (BPS) is looking for a functional manager. The domain will be business schedule & MRP. The department in a business organisation that manages the link between Operational business and IT providers.

They have 3 goals:
Managing Information Systems (Writing Business specifications, co-ordinating projects, ensuring roll out, etc.) based on the requirements formulated by the Business.
Driving the evolution of existing Information Systems, again based on the Business requirements but also in concordance with the IS/IT Strategic Plan and IT Standards.
Providing the necessary support to the users of our Information Systems through our "Service Desk" Organization.

You'll be responsible for managing 'Schedule Business & MRP' processes. You will write business specifications, co-ordinating projects, assist in testing, ensuring roll out and support maintenance. These tasks will be based on the requirements formulated by the business and the standard functionalities offered by SAP. You will be integrated in the Schedule Business Domain of BPS where they manage several Processes (Schedule Business, MRP, Order Follow up). Your main contacts are other BPS Functional Managers, different business teams, end users (Customer Teams Automotive) and Business Divisions.

Skills:
- Functional knowledge of SAP SD order entry processes
- Functional knowledge of SAP MM ( MRP ).
- Knowledge of SAP BW (BEx Analyzer) is an advantage.
- 2-3 years experience in Schedule Business and MRP in the automotive industry

We are not looking for a SAP-technical consultant that specializes in customizing, debugging, development, etc.

We are looking for someone who is "process and system minded". Team spirit, user orientation and the ability to adapt to and understand a complex environment are the main competences needed to fulfil the function requirements.
