Je functie: Context of the mission
We are continuously working on the delivery of the Solvency II reports according the latest EIOPA specifications. There is a dedicated IT project team working on the
Solvency II programme, aiming to implement Solvency II regulation..
We are therefore actively searching an experienced functional Dataware House modeller having experience in the Insurance domain. He will work in the IT Risks team that is the
link between the business team (delivers business requirements) and the IS Development team (technical analysis & programming).
He will discuss Solvency II reporting requirements with business users of our different business lines (Life, Non-Life, Health, …), analyse them and design data models for the
Risk Reporting data warehouse that stores all data needed for the regulatory Solvency II reporting.
He will explain the models to the analysts and developers who will implement them in SAS and develop the ETL code.
He will work under the supervision of a project leader
The modelling is done by customising IBM's IIW model.

Requirements & Solution definition
- You are responsible of gathering & consolidating the business requirements with end users. This includes not only documenting & analysing, but also
consolidating the requirements to lead to a consistent & reliable solution.
- You have the ability to analyse, define, design and propose solutions to business problems at the highest level of complexity
Analysis & Design
- You realize the functional analysis and estimate the demands
- You are responsible for the Functional Modelling of the different layers of the Risk Reporting Warehouse and the Functional design of the ETL between the
different layers
- You document and hand over the functional analysis to the development team of SAS analyst/developers that implement the Risk Reporting Warehouse and
deliver further support if necessary
Realization
- During the realization phase, you support the development team and prepare the test scenario's and test cases
- After implementation you perform the system testing (before qualification) and support the business users during the user acceptance tests
Reporting
- A weekly reporting to the project leader is expected allowing to assess progress. Reporting should list the performed activities and their status.
