Functional Data Analyst - Contract

As a key member of the Change team for this well-respected Asian bank you will utilise your extensive understanding of the financial services industry, data flows and enterprise level systems to improve data models within the business.

Working closely with technology and business users you will be instrumental in assisting the transition of this organisation from an SME to Enterprise level environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Map and trace data from system to system in order to solve business problems
- Create logical models for Master Data records
- Provide analysis and integrate solutions to eliminate recurring issues
- Influence teams, by leveraging business and system knowledge
- Provide support for Data Cleansing & Data Migration efforts. Be accountable for mass data loads including, data preparation and result verification in collaboration with the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

- A comprehensive understanding of Datamodelling techniques within financial services industry
- An ability to interpret detailed business requirements for Regulatory Reporting/Business Intelligence
- Proven experience in working with Enterprise Data warehouse and Business Intelligence systems
- Familiarity with ETL tools
- Proven ability to interact, develop, engineer and communicate with both business and technical teams
- Sound documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
