BACKGROUND :
- My client a leading banking organisation in Luxembourg is looking for a Functional Analyst to work in the messaging Middleware application of their Target 2 Securities (T2S) project.
- The role also requires some business analysis.
- Although the start date of this role is beginning January 2013, the client is recruiting now so that the selected candidate is ready for that schedule.
TASKS :
- Understand requirements and functional specifications for the IT
- messaging Middleware application (Back End and GUI) used as the interface between T2S and the bank.
- Writing functional acceptance criteria (test scenario).
- Execute functional acceptance criteria and validate the tests.
SKILLS:
- Minimum 4 years experience in functional/business modelling, analysis and IT system requirements specifications.
- Synthesis skills;
- XML;
- Testing of GUI user interactions;
- SWIFT.
- Very good knowledge of the financial industry and ideally Target 2 Securities (T2S).
- Ability to learn rapidly new business domains and to produce functional/business designs.
- Previous experience in investment banking, stock exchange or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. European Central Bank, ECB, Crest, Euroclear, Clearstream, LCH Clearnet, etc) will be a plus.
Language: English.
