Functional Business Analyst - English Speaker
Whitehall Resources are currently recruiting for an English speaking Functional Business Analyst.
Location: Belgium
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Rolling Contract
Languages: English (main); French (secondary); Dutch (secondary)
Rate: Competitive rate Euros/day
Responsibilities:
- Delivering functional designs, specifications, models and solutions in order to obtain a high quality IT application for our internal clients
- Contributing to define the user's requirements and examining potential functional solutions in conjunction with the IT business experts
- Performing functional analysis and advising your internal clients in the choice of solution, with a specific focus on Collaterals Management Application
- Writing the functional documentation
- Providing functional support and distributing the necessary information to all participants
- (when needed) Assisting the testers in testing the changes in the application
Key Skills:
- Business Analyst/Business Process Consultant/Business Process Modeler/Functional Analyst
- Experience in modelling tools BPMN, UML diagram & MS Visio and HP ALM
- Knowledge of Mainframe is an advantage
- Agile experience
- Experience in Quality Assurance activities (preparation of detailed test plan and business scenarios, defect management, periodic status reporting)
- Experience in preparing and executing functional test cases encompassing the solution scope
- Experience in requirement elicitation, documentation and preparation of high level design, prototypes and liaison with development team for implementation of changes in the system
- Experience in gathering and documenting functional interface specifications
Desired (non-mandatory) Skills:
- Experience in Lending Domain - Mainly Collaterals managements
- Knowledge of Mortgages, Credit lines is an advantage
- Knowledge of European/Belgian Lending domain is an advantage
- Fluent/Advanced French
- Fluent/Advanced Dutch
