Functional Analyst ( Upstream Domain )
DURATION: 5 Months
LANGUAGES: NL + EN + FR ( Dutch or Flemish and English/French )
LOCATION: Hasselt, Liège, Antwerp and Brussels
We are seeking a Functional Analyst with Upstream Domain experience who is responsible for the design and implementation of modern and flexible solutions according to agreed timelines and budgets in order to support the core business processes of the Organization in line with the business needs and quality requirements. He/she is responsible for building and optimizing the assigned applications on a cost efficient way to support the business processes and in line with functional and technical evolutions.
TASKS LIST
Functional Analyst with Upstream Domain experience is responsible for the feasibility of proposed solutions with due regard to quality, cost and strategic vision of the application landscape of the Upstream Application Domain. He/she is able to present a good solution to the business needs. He/she ensures the qualitative handover to the run organization.
THE FUNCTIONAL ANALYST WILL BE ABLE TO COVER THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:
- The Functional Analyst with Upstream Domain experience will support to prioritize business requirements according to functional and technical constraints
- Translate business requirements into technical and functional needs
- Translate business needs into efficient logical data model
- Evaluate the feasibility of the different solution always keeping in mind the quality, the cost and the future proof technical evolution of the applications
- Deliver documents in which impact and functional analysis are described in order to enable the developers to build the solution according to the standards.
- Review and approve documentation and code development. Both in project mode and in support mode.
- Functional Analyst with Upstream Domain experience will validate integration tests strategy and descriptions
- Take care of a qualitative hand-over to the run organization
- Support the operations team once the project or deliverable are in run
FUNCTIONAL SCOPE "UPSTREAM"
The Functional Analyst with Upstream Domain experience should have minimum expertize in the following business domains:
- Energy (power&gaz) nomination and optimization
- Production planning
- Portfolio optimization
- Energy consumption forecast
- Energy data reporting
BACKGROUND
Master (preferably in Information Technology) or similar experience
Significant and relevant similar experience in IT
Autonomous Functional Analyst with Upstream Domain experience
Excellent analysis skills
DURATION: 5 Months
