Functional Analyst - long term Mission - Brussels

My client in central Brussels is looking for a Functional Analyst to join their team, this a mission till the end of year with an extension very likely possible.( Start Date Mid-May).

PROFILE

The team is looking for a functional analyst. Master degree or equal through experience.

You will handle small projects, sub projects or epic stories of the strategic digital roadmap in a full end-to-end way, from high-level analysis, assisting in UX task forces, supporting developers, performing and tracking tests, and assuring MTO.

Minumum of 3 years experience as functional analyst, preferable in financial domain.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

- High level analysis
- Iterate towards a low level analysis together with business analyst and Back End analyst
- E2E responsible for the end result of the feature:
- Documentation of flows, screens, and services
- Daily follow-up of development
- Test progress follow-up and issue tracking

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Good knowledge of a service oriented architecture: define input/output of services

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

- Team player, Digital mindset
- Be able to adapt use of language (business vs technical language)
- Good communication skills (Dutch AND French): understanding both languages

OTHER SKILLS

- Banking experience or ability to quickly acquire knowledge in diverse domains
- Analytical skills are important
- Flexible, dynamic, open minded
- Being able to work autonomous within a given context
- Able to mix between a waterfall and agile (Kanban/scrum) methodology
