Functional Analyst (Intraday Cash Movements)

Functional Analyst - Intraday Cash Movements 6 months+ contract in Brussels (Margin Calls, Subscriptions/Redemptions, Fees)

My client based in Brussels have an urgent requirement for a Functional Analyst for an Intraday Cash Movements project.
It is essential that you have extensive experience of the asset management area and strong financial instruments knowledge.

Required skills include:
° Knowledge of financial instruments and the asset management business
° Detailed knowledge of cash movements such as margin calls, subscription/redemptions, fees
° Minimum 5 years of experience as senior business analyst in the banking and/or asset management business
° Detailed knowledge of cash movements such as margin calls, subscription/redemptions, fees
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Defining the data model of the Intraday Cash Flow Tool
- Participation in workshops to determine the "generic transaction data format" to manage all data exchanges in/out of the Intraday Cash Flow Tool
- Perform detailed functional analysis on mapping the different files/events coming from other applications (thinkFolio, Murex, Decalog) and from the outside world (transfer agents, custodians, ...) into the defined format/message for the Intraday Cash Flow Tool
- Work in close collaboration with the development team

The working language for this project is English but French language skills will be beneficial.
