Functional Analyst for Information System (Kronos)
The principal domains for the IS Functional Analyst will be the following domains:
- Time Registration, HR Master Data, Payroll
- Planning/dispatching
- Track & Trace
- Controlling
For this in particular the IS Functional Analyst will:
- Understand the business processes the application will support in the business context.
- Assist the user in the definition and writing/updating of functional requirements
- Assess the fit between the user requirements and their implementations in the platform.
- Lead the acceptance functional testing, help in the structuration of the test scenarios, help writing/updating the test scenarios
- Assist in writing/updating the functional documentation, training material and user documentation
- Assist all the quality assessment and management activities.
- Support and use the tools that help support these tasks eg Jira, TestLink
More related to the application itself the functional analyst is supposed to:
- Understand the application architecture and the actual implementation of the its different parts.
- Understand the platform specfic ergonomics, user interfaces, navigation,etc
- Understand and assist in the functional specifc configurations
The job will need general and functional knowledge of the Kronos Workforce Central application.
The job will need a knowledge and experience in enterprise business processes.
Analysis of business needs
. Facilitates expression of needs
. Formalizes business needs
. Defines functional specifications
. Analyses IS and operational architecture and its evolutions
. Assesses software packages
Design of the solution to be implemented
. Translates general specifications, reflecting business needs, into detailed specifications, reflecting the technical solution to be implemented
. Identifies and selects the technical project components
Assistance to the business for user acceptance tests
. Prepares the user acceptance tests (test scenarios, organization and roll out)
. Participates in user acceptance tests
Support for the business for change management
. Designs the change management program
. Facilitates User Support
. Designs and creates user and training materials
Management
. May supervise other analysts
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
