Functional Analyst (Energy Trading)

The contract is with a large consultancy in Brussels to be on assignment to an organisation in the Energy sector as follows:

The role is to assist the team leader on the following tasks:
- analyse the business needs and translate them into functional and non-funcitonal requirements
- ensure that short-term commitments (actions/deadlines) are reliable and completed
- determine the optimum solution and assess the IT impact of the requested change
- follow-up on the implementation of the solution
- prepare and execute tests of the implemented solution
- write documentation
- report progress to the Back Office domain responsible

Skill set:
- Strong analytical mind
- committed to results and quality delivery
- able to work independently and organise own work
- able to interact between IT and business
- general technical knowledge (database concepts, .NET development, PL/SQL)
- general functional knowledge in trading activity beneficial
- proven experience and knowledge in testing
- strong experience in gathering, analysing and formalising user needs.

Fluency in English and French
