Functional Analyst / Developer (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
In the department Credit Risk Management, our team is in charge of the set-up of the risk data and calculation infrastructure.
Several projects are currently led by Risk Business Architecture:
° in the context of Bank for the future: First Optimization and Credit Risk Architecture Convergence
° in the context of the construction of the risk calculation infrastructure (Assyst)
° in the context of the implementation of a single data store for Credit Risk data
° in the context of BCBS239, AnaCredit and other regulatory initiatives

The aim of these projects is to implement the Risk Infrastructure:
° consolidate all the necessary data in a common database; and
° use the data for the different missions of the Risk department.
The basic infrastructure is implemented in production since September 2013. The goal of the current activities is now to
° extend the data store with new sources; and
° develop the different applications to calculate, monitor and manage Credit Risk within the company.
We are looking to reinforce the team with an additional team member. The new collaborator is expected to help the team to finalise and implement the target systems architecture.

Function Description
Main tasks as business & functional architect:
° preparation of specifications and change requests
° data modelling and database design
° collaboration with the IT department / project team during the implementation phase.
° development of queries and reports.
° preparation and execution of the tests - preparation of the GO/NO GO meetings.
° management of the documentation (business manual, specifications, meeting minutes, …) according the guidelines.
The function is a business function with a strong technical content.

Education
Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in Economics/Mathematics or IT

Languages Requirement
French Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing
Dutch Fluent/good in speaking & understanding, basic/good in writing
English Fluent in writing, Good in speaking & understanding

Experience
° 3 to 5 years of experience in technical and/or functional analysis
° experience in IT architecture ° database design
° process design
° batch or web-service interfaces ° experience in IT development.
° expertise in data/process analysis, requirements documentation, testing

Technical Experience
Mandatory
° basic to expert knowledge of standard MS tools and technologies: Word / Excel / Access
° basic to expert knowledge in data management using SQL
° knowledge in programming tools such as VBA or C#
° functional / technical analysis skills.
° programming capabilities. ° testing capabilities.

Preferable
° knowledge in SAS data management
° knowledge in statistical data analysis
° experience with large IT projects
° experience with large IT infrastructures

Business Experience
Mandatory
° IT background

Preferable
° credit / Credit Risk knowledge (Basel II, …).
° economics and/or mathematics background
° knowledge of BNPP F environment (business side and/or IT department).
