FUNCTIONAL ANALYST - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM
LANGUAGES: ENGLISH, FRENCH and DUTCH (trilingual)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience in a similar function
- Knowledge and minimum of 3 years experience as a functional analyst
- Knowledge and at least 1 year experience in the insurance sector, domain life
- Experience with Enterprise Architect
- Basic IT knowledge about software, databases and application software
- Experience with Scrum and JIRA are considered an advantage
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
- Analyze and translate requirements into a functional design, taking into account the framework (existing architecture, technical capabilities and limitations)
- Implements and maintains specific applications, providing end user support within its scope
- Evaluate and validate high level detailed requirements for alternatives to provide better solutions
- Organize reviews and perform functional analyzes of the systems in cooperation with the business representatives
- Check whether the technical analysis meets the functional requirements and make changes to parameters in systems, if necessary
- Working in accordance with the standards applicable within the company, actively monitoring the application of the standards for projects to develop applications in a uniform manner
- For complex, transversal projects, if necessary, ensure communication between the different sub projects and align the planning so that they expire according to agreed standards ie by importance, priority, budget, desired implementation date and relevance.
