Functional Analyst BI

ROLE

The Functional analyst shall perform underlying activities launched in the context of on-going risk projects impacting the existing BI application for securities:

- Be the link between the Business and the Development Team;
- Understand business requirements and build a functional analysis which covers needs of the business according to our BI reference architecture;
- Collaborate with the development team (Technical application manager and external supplier)
- Set up test strategy;
- Perform IT Acceptance tests;
- Support the Business during the UAT phase

EXPERIENCE

- Sound expertise in making functional analysis for BI environments (> 5 years' experience as functional analyst)
- Knowledge of securities data/processes.
- Mainframe (as FA)
- Knowledge of BI systems (BO, SAS)
- Expertise in BI Data Modeling techniques (eg Kimball)
- Expertise in Data Modeling tools (eg Power Designer)
- Knowledge of functioning of ETL tool (Powercenter) and DBMS Systems (Oracle/Sybase)
- Experience in a large IT environment
