FUNCTIONAL ANALYST BI (PAYMENTS) DUTCH AND FRENCH AND ENGLISH SPEAKING - BRUSSELS

ROLE: Functional Analyst Business Intelligence (Payments)
LOCATION: Brussels
DURATION: 6 months
START DATE: ASAP

For a leading bank in Brussels we are urgently seeking a Functional Analyst BI who is Dutch, French and English Speaking with over 5 years' experience as a Functional Analyst.

You will perform underlying activities launched in the context of ongoing risk projects impacting the existing BI application for securities:

Be the linking pin between the Business and the Development Team;

Understand business requirements and build a functional analysis which covers needs of the business according to our BI reference architecture;

Collaborate with the development team (Technical application manager and external supplier)

Set up test strategy;

Perform IT Acceptance tests;

Support the Business during the UAT phase.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor/Master in Informatics/Engineer/Commercial Engineer

Sound expertise in making functional analysis for BI environments ( 5 years' experience as functional analyst)

Knowledge of payment and customer data

Mainframe (as Functional Analyst) Preferable

Knowledge of BI systems (BO, SAS, ETL)

Expertise in BI Data Modeling techniques (eg Kimball)

Expertise in Data Modeling tools (eg Power Designer)

Experience in a large IT environment Soft skills

You have good Communication and influencing skills, good analytical and synthesis skills. You ar a team player, a quick self-starter and have a pro-active attitude. Autonomy, commitment and perseverance are also a must as well as the ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
