Functional Analyst Dutch/French 8 months Brussels
In the context of a migration of phased-out electronic document management system that implies rework of processes and ICT applications this company based in Brussels is currently looking for a Functional Analyst being able to capture, structure and document all analysis artefacts that will be integral part of the delivered products.
Daily duties:
- You understand, detail and translate business needs to functional requirements and Product features,
- You actively participate to the discussions with the business to elaborate the new solution
- You provide the top-down and bottom-up traceability between business needs, requirements and product features,
- You perform those activities in close collaboration with the project leader and development team during the different stages of the ICT project life cycle,
- You ensure that all solutions proposals are discussed with, and approved by the ICT Architecture Office that takes care of the vision and coherence of our applications landscape,
- You respect and follow all the client templates and artefacts standards.
- You respect priorities and timing of the projects' plans.
- You always balance choices made against added value for the client,
Skills Required:
- Unified Modelling Language (UML)
- Processes description techniques like Role Activity Diagrams, BPMN
- Requirements gathering techniques (knowledge of Agile Software Development 'user stories' requirements elicitation technique is a real plus)
- Requirement sizing estimation techniques
- Analysis methodology while Fluxys ICT has its own standards the BA will have to adhere to Microsoft Office suite.
- Testing concepts and practices.
- Technical Architecture practices,
- UML tool Enterprise Architect (from Sparxsystems)
- Project management practices including agile ones (Scrum is
- Creativity needed to develop new solutions to old problems within a strict budgetary frame
- Good written (English) and verbal (Dutch and French)
