Fullstack Developer C# and React JS

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is an exclusive opportunity to work for one of our leading financial services clients in Zurich. We are looking for two Fullstack Developers (C#, ReactJS), one of them should have a clear focus (around 80%) on Front End development with the other 50/50 back and Front End. You will be part of two brand new Greenfield projects within Asset Management FX and Money markets.
THE ROLE:
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Provide task-analysis and estimates, prototypes and proof-of-concepts as part of the analysis process
- Drives the team to deliver in a very high paced challenging environment
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to changing platforms, or to improve its performance.
- Drive a solid architecture and promote good coding practices for the application and is motivated to help less senior team members strive for the same.
- Takes ownership of the code and takes the required steps to ensure the team delivers high quality features in agreed timeframes.
You will be working in a highly motivated and international team. The challenges in this role will be the large complex codebase covering many different business functions. You have to be a proactive self-starter who can quickly understand the environment you will be developing in. You will be working on a growing application with a growing user base which must remain maintainable and scalable.
THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:
- Solid Front End Developer required, 7 years+ proven experience.
- Solid Experience with Complex UI design & development
- Solid JavaScript (REACT, typescript) experience and extensive use of third party libraries
- Solid CSS & HTML (Including Responsive design)
- Solid C# knowledge
- Solid Object Oriented and Design.
- Experience with Services implementation and testing (REST, JSON, SOAP, XML ).
- Experience with Unit Test, automated User Interface tests and Integration Tests (Selenium, Mocha etc.).
- Very good soft skills and happy to work with teams both offshore & onshore
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to understand and learn quickly
- Experience in agile environments, preferably within the bank industry
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required
- Fluent in English
The role is English speaking - German is nice to have but not mandatory. Based in Zürich, the contract will be 12 months, with the potential to extend it for another 12 months and be internalized after this.
