Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer urgently required to join one of the leading banks in Amsterdam, Netherlands for a long term assignment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Full Stack Developer you will be part of a team that works according to the Scrum and DevOps methodologies. The team is responsible for creating and implementing innovative and creative solutions in the Customer Data domain. Within the team you will be working on full stack solutions, Front End and Back End, with state of the art technologies. Your main focus within the team will be on API and Front End development.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT:

You will be working for Chief Information Office Netherlands (CIO) in the Tribe Customer Information Management (CIM). This Tribe manages the customer data and enables both the customer and our employees to work with this data in an accessible and easy way.

We use Scrum Agile for our development process and are advocates of the DevOps way of developing IT solutions. The focus is on high quality, business critical software that is delivered in a timely fashion using a iterative process with regular demos to our stakeholders to ensure that expectations are met.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Extensive experience with the Agile methodology
- Experience with Continuous Delivery
- Excellent knowledge of and experience with Java API development, Spring and Maven
- Knowledge of and experience with JavaScript, AngularJS and Web 2.0 development
- Knowledge of and experience with Jasmine, Karma, NMP, Bower en Grunt
- Knowledge of and experience with Polymer is preferred
- Knowledge of TDD (Test Driven Development)
- English speaking and writing skills
