For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a Full Stack Java/Front-End Developer

The client is currently developing a scalable, resilient, next generation application which will empower its financial advisors in their advisory conversations with clients, from every delivery channel; desktop or mobile. The front-end AngularJS application and the Java API will become an important tool used by client facing financial advisors­­ at client's offices.
The team has reached a decisive phase of delivery of this IT proposition and the client is looking for an experienced full stack engineer with a strong front-end profile who can step up and become a key developer on this project in the near future.

Job description:
Develop fast, secure JavaScript / HTML components for our application
Continuous delivery: Bring the code to production frequently within an enterprise ING environment.
Collaborate closely with other squad members and business representatives with clear and open communication.
Understand and be able to engage in decisions concerning the full technical stack of the application (understanding the mechanics of the Java API and Cassandra database).
Write clear and concise documentation about the front end application.

The ideal candidate for the role of full stack front end developer matches the following criteria:
- Solid Dutch and English communication skills, verbal as well as written
- AngularJS 1.5 proficiency and proven project experience
- Full understanding and experience of the AngularJS digest cycle, dependency injection
- Willingness to grow onto a leading role in the team and a mindset that resembles a lead developer
- Full stack minded, has worked with, or at least understands the concepts behind other modern front end JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Polymer, Aurelia or similar
- Ability to communicate with business representatives in the team to clearify technical complexities
- Proven project experience within enterprise environments
