FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER needed for a contract job opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Ramon, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Act as a member of the Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high quality design and development practices
- Develop high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end web applications
- Collaborate with system engineers, Front End developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Eight (8+) years of experience in full-stack software development, preferably using agile SDLC.
- Experience developing web applications Spring MVC, REST, Web Services
- Experience developing nodejs applications or a solid experience building applications on top of RESTful APIs.
- Solid knowledge of common web Front End technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and jQuery/Dojo/YUI).
- Comfortable with modern JavaScript architectures.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms, design patterns, and componentization approaches.
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform, and design constraints on the web.
- Experience in software design patterns, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail.

BONUS POINTS!

- Experience working with GIT and Maven is a plus
- Demonstrated expertise developing Core Java applications (Java 1.6 or later)
- Experience with rules engines (Camel, Drools, Quartz, JRules)
- Experience with database tools (JPA, Hibernate, TopLink, JDBC)
- Solid understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems (Bash, Perl, PHP, Python)
- Experience with Big Data analytics (NoSQL, Cassandra, Hadoop, MongoDB, CouchDB, MapReduce, Mahout, Oracle Exadata, SAS)
