FULL STACK JAVA DEVELOPER AMSTERDAM

Java Developers junior to senior level with 1 to 8 years' experience and fluent English required for a banking client in Amsterdam. After the first 6 months the client may choose to hire you directly. The DevOps team you will be part of consists of Dev, Ops, UX and business specialists and together you will be working on creating new functionalities and maintaining existing features. Banking sector experience would be desirable.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Software engineering experience
- Advanced knowledge of Java 7/8, REST APIs, JSON and Oracle
- Sound knowledge of Java development tools and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Jenkins, Eclipse Plugins, Git and Maven
- Solid understanding of Front End techniques like Polymer, AngularJS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Completed college or university degree with a strong ICT component

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certification of Oracle Certified Master or Expert for Java (OCM/OCE)
- Experience with continuous delivery and integration
- Experience in the banking sector

PROFESSIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

You have strong communication and presentation skills, your command of English is excellent and you know how to motivate your decisions.

LANGUAGES

- Candidates must speak fluent English, Dutch is a plus.
