FULL STACK ENGINEER

One of my market leading financial clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a FULL STACK ENGINEER for a long-term contract paying excellent rates. If you like it, you will never have to leave.

THE FULL STACK ENGINEER WILL IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% OF THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- Experienced in software architecture, design, development, testing and have a proven track of delivery
- Knowledge about scalable cloud/serverless solutions and microservices
- Experience in Front End development in HTML/CSS/JS and at least one modern JavaScript framework such as AngularJS
- Experience with at least one OO programming language on the JVM stack, such as Java
- Experience in at least one functional programming language, such as Scala
- You are passionate about IT, big data, AI, and FinTech
- You consider yourself a software craftsman
- You are a MSc or PhD with excellent academic results in the field of Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence
- You are keen to work with data scientists and customer experts in a small multidisciplinary team, where the work division is not always clear
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and start-up spirit

THE FULL STACK ENGINEER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

- You'll be responsible for design, build, test and deploy new features.
- We release several times per week, but perhaps you can help us automating the pipeline even further
- Our tech stack currently consists of Scala and Python code that runs on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, CloudFront, S3).
