Full Stack Developer

THE ENVIRONMENT

Work in an Agile development environment, with engineers typically taking end-to-end responsibility for full features.

The service-oriented architecture runs on AWS and is automated with tools like Puppet and Docker. The services run on Linux using a variety of technologies including C# and node.js, with PostgreSQL and MongoDB as the data stores. The Front End is a web application coded in CoffeeScript using a React-esque framework and communicates with the Back End over a REST API. Workflow relies heavily on GitHub, Slack and emoji.

We're looking for full stack product developers; people who are as happy designing and implementing new UI features as they are building out distributed data integration pipelines in AWS.

Successful candidate will have 2 - 5 years commercial experience with full stack development. You will have worked on large scale web applications, ideally within a start-up environment.

SKILLS:

- Object-oriented static languages like C# or Java
- Dynamic Languages like JavaScript, Ruby or Python
- Web application development: HTTP, RESTful APIs, react/flux, Handlebars, Sass
- Service-oriented architecture, PaaS environments, and tools like Docker, etc.
- NoSQL databases like MongoDB and SQL databases like PostrgeSQL and Redshift
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
- Automated Testing - both unit & functional
