DG DEVCO has created a number of IT Systems to support the implementation of the development of the European Union. As part of the DEVCO strategy in line with the commission rationalisation politic, a new program called OPSYS has been launched to replace the current Legacy system. The OPSYS Platform will cover the entire life cycle of EuropAid actions and will support the different Programming, Identification and Formulation, implementation process. In this context, we are looking for the services of an Application Architect Designer who will manage the following tasks and responsibilities for these IT Systems.

Your New role:-

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

- Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Delivering a complete Front End application
- Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented code
- Cooperating with the Back End development team
- Integrating Front End application with external web services

Your Skills and experience:-

Required Skills

- In-depth knowledge of Front End development.
- In-depth knowledge of HTML5 + CSS3 + SAS.
- In-depth knowledge of Angular2.
- In-depth knowledge of TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript.
- Good knowledge of NodeJS + NPM + Gulp.
- Good knowledge of responsive web design (Bootstrap). Mobile development is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Web services (REST is required).
- Knowledge of JSON.
- Rigorous and quality oriented.
- Fluent in English. Other languages are an asset.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural Team
- Good communication skills.
- Rapid self-starting capability

Optional Skills

- Knowledge of interoperability technology (SOA, ESB).
- Knowledge of GIT (Source control principles).
- Knowledge of Maven.
- Knowledge of XML.
- Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence.
- Experience with Weblogic.
- Knowledge of Java.
- Ability to give technical presentations.
- Good redaction and documentation capabilities.
