Front End Web Developers / Javascript / HTML / CSS / Jquery

My client based near Oxford are looking for a web developer on an interim basis or interim to permanent .

This position is ideal for a university graduate with some commercial experience, looking to establish themselves at a successful company, where they can developer their skills and grow.

Essential skills

* · Highly proficient in coding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
* · Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
* · Application of web design and development 'good practice' standards such as accessibility, cross-browser compatibility; screen resolution etc
* · Experience with Adobe Photoshop - taking layered designs and turning them into fully functional, pixel-perfect sites & web applications
* · An understanding of, or ability to interface with server-side scripting such as ASP and ASP .Net
* · Excellent organisational and planning skills - ability to manage own work schedule and ensure that deadlines are met

Advantageous skills

* · Have commercial ASP .Net development experience using C#, with experience of the Visual Studio environment
* · Demonstrate experience in web application development using SQL Server 2005/2008
* · Familiarity with the Kentico CMS platform
* · A working understanding of Windows Server and IIS configuration
* · Ability to create mobile optimised versions of a website
* · Experience of email marketing best practices and compliance issues
* · Experience of using version control systems e.g. Subversion
