Our hugely popular client is building products and services which will delight billions of customers as they buy and sell things in brick-and-mortar retail. Currently they are looking for a Front End Web Developer to join them. You will be responsible for creating HTML/XHTML, JavaScript and CSS for tablet and smartphone based Point of Sale systems. The successful candidate should be experienced building mobile focused and responsive HTML/CSS and JavaScript.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years experience of HTML and CSS, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Mobile first adaptive design experience
- Excellent JavaScript coding skill plus experience building AJAX-driven interfaces using commonly used libraries (jQuery)
- Experience and knowledge of DOM Scripting
- Expertise working on large, high load websites
- Adhering to W3C standards for client side development and accessibility
- Performance, page weight/rendering optimization
- Awareness and skills to delivering cross-browser compatible products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Source control repositories (GIT, Subversion, CVS etc.)
- Task management tools (Rally, Jira, Trac etc.)
- Experience working with hybrid mobile applications preferred
