Front End Web Developer

Our client is a Global Technology company seeking an experienced Front End web developer to work on a key project.

The role is for a developer to work on web and mobile projects being developed using HTML5 client interfaces and usually a cloud based Microsoft .Net/SQL Back End.

Required Skills:

These projects require an experienced developer (5+ years) with demonstrable experience in HTML5 development for web applications, games and/or mobile apps, including:

- Design and layout using HTML5 (WS3 standard) and CSS3 plus
- Developing with JavaScript including:
- JQuery, Mobile JQuery and PhoneGap in conjunction with the HTML/CSS development
- JSON for data manipulation
- RESTful API
- Developing animations using HTML5 canvas, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Developing for touch screens, sensors and other device specific capabilities
- Developing for multiple platforms (ie Android, Windows8, cloud etc.)

In addition the projects will need Microsoft .Net/SQL development experience, including:

- Use in the development of cloud back ends for HTML5 apps or web applications
- Stored procedures
- Database design and development
- C# (plus VB, optional)

The projects will target mainly Android and Windows 8 so experience and knowledge of these operating systems and developing for them (especially Win8 Modern Interface) would be very helpful.

Finally, we plan to augment our quality control so some experience with Scripting of automated tests would be useful.
