Front-End Web Application Developer

Function:

* Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop,
* Deliver modules and maintain front end and back-end part of the website,
*Write clean, cross-browser, standards-compliant code,
* Write tested and documented code,
* Cooperate with the back-end developer in the process of building the * RESTful API,
* Communicate with internal or external web services,
* Work with other team members; share knowledge, suggestions, perform * peer reviews,
* Stay up-to-date with market developments; look into and advise on new * technologies and emerging standards,
* Define and keep your deadlines,
* Be part of the bug fixing process.

Profile:

* At least 5 years experience in a similar position,
* Minimum 1 year experience with Coldfusion (with a MVC framework like * Coldbox) or AngularJS framework,
* Good knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5,
* Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components,
* Validate user actions on the client side and providing responsive * feedback,
* Build and automate the build process for production, using task runners * or scripts,
* Create e2e test suites for all components,
* Create configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous * Integration environments,
* Professional, precise English communication skills (French speaking * working environment),
* Previous experience in a scrum environment.

Would be an asset:

* Knowledge of W3C standards and browser-compatibility issues,
* Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based * on extensive work experience,
* Experience with SASS or LESS,
* Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks,
* Good knowledge of SEO standards.
