Front-End Web Application Developer

Our client is an international online real estate company.

Description:

For our client, we are looking for a passionate Senior Front End Web Developer responsible for the client service side. The main scope is to implement the UI (user interface) in form of a mobile and desktop The main tasks include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional app. The artistic design is done elsewhere, together with a few HTML templates, but you will be asked to help with animations, CSS and final HTML output. You will work in a Scrum environment together with other Front End and Back End developers and QA officers.

Function:

* Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop,
* Deliver modules and maintain Front End and Back End part of the website,
* Write clean, cross-browser, standards-compliant code,
* Write tested and documented code,
* Cooperate with the Back End developer in the process of building the RESTful API,
* Communicate with internal or external web services,
* Work with other team members; share knowledge, suggestions, perform peer reviews,
* Stay up-to-date with market developments; look into and advise on new technologies and emerging standards,
* Define and keep your deadlines,
* Be part of the bug fixing process.

Profile:

* At least 5 years experience in a similar position,
* Minimum 1 year experience with Coldfusion (with a MVC framework like Coldbox) or AngularJS framework,
* Good knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5,
* Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components,
* Validate user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback,
* Build and automate the build process for production, using task runners or scripts,
* Create e2e test suites for all components,
* Create configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments,
* Professional, precise English communication skills (French speaking working environment),
* Previous experience in a scrum environment.

Would be an asset:

* Knowledge of W3C standards and browser-compatibility issues,
* Deep knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules based. on extensive work experience,
* Experience with SASS or LESS,
* Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks,
* Good knowledge of SEO standards.
