My client is a privately owned company based just outside Chester. The company has a refreshing culture with a positive "can-do" atmosphere and lack of politics. In 2012 the company won a major Award for Enterprise for continuous innovation and development of our pioneering Toolkit system.

Due to constant success my client are heavily investing in new technologies and looking to really be ahead of the game.

The key responsibilities of the role are:- Introducing NEW front-end technologies to enhance the look and feel of the application, documenting these and mentoring other team members on their usage.

Design and development of new functionality following Intetech processes and architectural standards

Working with the in-house test team

Ongoing support & maintenance of software products implemented at clients

The ideal candidate would have experience of migrating existing web applications to new front-end technologies and updating the look & feel. Experience of rich presentation of statistical data, graphs and management information is of interest.

The key skills and experience are:- Solid experience as a front-end developer within a java team.

Expert in AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript plus experience of JQuery and JavaScript standards would be an advantage.

JSP, JSTL tags and Expression Language (EL), skills creating rich web browser based user interfaces, knowledge of JSP and Tiles would be an advantage.

Experience in automated front-end testing of applications.

Experience of collaborative tools including version control systems.

A good standard of written and spoken English is required.
