Front End Engineer JavaScript (m/f) - Freelancer

You are a passionate developer with an eye for details and strong skills in web development with JavaScript? You have knowledge how a web application works, both on the front end and backend side? Great! We are looking for a talented Front End Engineer and JavaScript hero to work with us for about 6 month on a challenging project. Tasks:
- Implement a modular and scalable e-commerce web application in JavaScript
- Implement UI/UX requirements in close collaboration with our UX/UI design team
- Design, implement and maintain automated frontend tests
- Analyse requirements and discuss technical approaches
- Close work with an interdisciplinary, agile team consisting of Back and Front End Developers, DevOps, UX/UI Designers and Product Managers

Requirements
- Min. 3 years of work experience as a Front End Engineer (ideally on e-commerce - projects)
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and good experience with HTML and CSS
- Excellent knowledge of Single Page Applications
- Experience with React.js and one-way Data Flow (e.g. Flux, Redux)
- Experience with modern web technologies such as Webpack, ES6
- Experience writing tests
- Experience working with Pull Requests and code review
- Fluent English for the work in international teams, German would be a plus
- Good problem-solving abilities, as well as a structured, reliable and independent way of working
- Team player with good communication skills

Nice-to-have's
- Experience with other programming languages
- Familiar with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization - techniques
- Experience with Node.js
- Familiar with VMs
- High UX/UI affinity
- Practical work experience with e-commerce solutions and software development in an agile environment (SCRUM/Kanban, Atlassian stack, etc.)
