Front End Developer - Xhtml, HTML, CSS, Javascript

FRONT END DEVELOPER - XHTML, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT:

Front End Developer with XHTML, HTML, CSS and Javascript required to join our Customer Experience team, which consists of over 35 people across a range of disciplines, including design, UX and analytics. Enthusiastic and with a desire to learn, the successful candidates will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

MANDATORY

- Must be able to hand-code semantic XHTML and CSS, adhering to W3C standards
- Familiar with JavaScript and JavaScript libraries
- Good understanding/awareness of Usability, Accessibility, Cross Browser issues.
- Willingness to contribute to both large, complex projects and smaller tasks.
- Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

DESIRED

- Working knowledge of native and Object Orientated JavaScript
- Working knowledge of optimisation techniques for XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and images.
- Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience of creating websites for mobile and tablet devices, as well as Responsive Web Design techniques
- Experience working on eCommerce and/or high traffic websites
- Experience of working with Adobe Photoshop and other industry standard graphics packages.
- Experience of working with JSPs or other Server Side technologies would be extremely advantageous.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate their skills in XHTML, CSS and JavaScript.
